Description
Our client, a well established firm with consistent work is growing again and requires additional welders to join their team in their afternoon/evening shifts.
• Permanent, full-time position
• Afternoon shift 3.30pm to 11.30pm
• Monday to Friday (weekends available for overtime)
You will be required to read and learn how to interpret detailed drawings and specifications regarding fabricating structural steel and various metalwork including mild steel, stainless steel and Aluminum, using hand tools, heavy machinery and welding equipment.
Requirements
• 2 plus years of experience.
• Team Players
• Excellent communication skills
• Adherence to safety standards
• Microsoft literate
Duties and Tasks
• Maintenance and repairs of car, truck and plant equipment.
• Recording and reporting of completed work
• Stainless steel and sheet metal welding
Qualifications/Tickets/Licenses
• Cert III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade or equivalent
• Australian driver’s license
• National Police Check
• Forklift (desirable)
• White card
• First aid & CPR (desirable)
